University Toastmasters of Dallas
Toastmasters is a leadership program designed to help you improve your ability to speak publicly, in groups, meetings, committees, and presentations. Whether you're speaking to committees, organizations, faculty, staff, or friends, we can help you do it better.
At Toastmasters, members learn by actively speaking and working with others in a comfortable, supportive environment. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice conducting meetings, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches, and offering constructive evaluation.
The Mission of the Club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.
Club meetings are workshops where you study and practice communication and leadership skills with others who are there for the same reasons. You learn by doing and watching fellow club members.
